Flexible payment methods: choose how you pay.

Who steppers are for

Lower-body builders: targets glutes, quads and calves with a steady climb.
Cardio fans short on space: a stepper has a smaller footprint than most cardio machines.
Active households: a quick session between meetings or after work.
Runners and cyclists: a different way to load the legs without extra road miles.
Gyms and studios: commercial-style climbing machines handle regular use.

How to choose your stepper

Type of stepper

Compact fitness steps and mini steppers suit tight spaces. Full stair climbers, like the Technogym Climb machines, have a rotating staircase that simulates real climbing and are larger and heavier.

Console and controls

Look at what the display shows: time, floors climbed, speed and heart rate. Larger touchscreen consoles, found on Live models such as the Excite Live 16 7000, offer more entertainment and programmes.

Step size and handrails

Wide, sturdy steps and well-placed handrails make climbing feel more stable and comfortable, particularly for longer sessions.

Intensity and programmes

Some steppers offer a fixed pace, while others let you change speed or follow preset programmes. If you want to build up gradually, choose a machine that makes it easy to start slow and add effort over time.

Space and height

Climbing machines can be tall. Measure the ceiling height, particularly if you will stand on a raised step, and check the machine’s footprint.

Condition

Each listing describes the condition of the machine, and every item is checked by experts and comes with the min. 12-month warranty. Photos and descriptions show what to expect.

Brands and models

Technogym has the broadest selection here, from Climb 1000 LED and Climb 1000 Unity to Artis Climb Unity 3.0 and Climb Artis Unity 4.0. For a lighter, simpler option, Italian Design offers a fitness step. The range moves quickly, so keep an eye on new arrivals, and compare the console and size of each model before you choose.

Refurbished vs new

Refurbished steppers can cost up to 40% less than new. They are also more sustainable vs new, because an existing machine gets a second life and fewer new products need to be made.

Refurbished vs second hand

Second-hand steppers from private sellers typically come without a warranty and without a tested condition. A refurbished stepper has been checked by experts, includes a min. 12-month warranty and is covered by a 30-day free trial.
