The 1981 Yamaha SG1000, produced in Japan. It is one of the most valued models in Yamaha history and one of the best single-cut guitars ever made outside the US. The SG series was developed in collaboration with Carlos Santana and already in the early 1980s gained a reputation for instruments that could compete with American designs in terms of performance quality, outfit stability and sound. Copies from the first half of the 1980s are especially appreciated by collectors and musicians today. The presented copy dates from 1981 and is distinguished by the classic Tobacco Sunburst, a ebony fingerboard and a set of gold Gibson Burstbucker 2.
