Yamaha SA-1300W Super Axe guitar, produced in 1981 in Japan. This model belongs to the professional Yamaha SA series (Super Axe) – semi-box guitars designed as Yamaha’s response to classic ES-type constructions. The instrument’s design is based on a semi-holow body with a central block, allowing you to combine the resonance of the semi-pull guitar with greater stability and feedback resistance at higher volume levels. Construction Model SA-1300W uses laminated top of flame maple (curly maple) and Japanese beech, and inside is a central block of alder (alder). This design provides a distinctive resonance of semi-box guitars and good sound projection. The fingerboard is made of mahogany and embedded in the body in the set-neck structure, while the fingerboard is made of rosewood and has 22 frets and dot markers.
