1952 Gretsch Synchromatic.
I got this in a pity state and complete reworked it: - neck reset - new jumbo frets - new Kluson Deluxe tuners - new pickguard from an old blank - new Dearmond Rythm chief 100 - new electronics & output jack - and much more
I believe the guitar was refinished in the past - it was not the best job. I sanded out the orange peel and gave it some shellac “makeup” and now it is ok…
This plays like a charme - the neck is dead straight. This is an all laminated guitar, so I though it needs a pickup with controls. The acoustic sound is alright, the electric sound great.
