Gibson Les Paul Studio Lite M-III from 1993, in a rare Trans Blue finish. It is one of Gibson’s most unusual designs from the 1990s, combining Les Paul’s classic figure with a specification inspired by superstrat models – H-S-H configuration, advanced electronics and a clearly thin body. The M-III series is currently collectors’ instruments, and the Studio Lite version was only produced for a short time. The model combines the mahogany body with the internal core of Chromite (lighter and more stable strengthening material), making the instrument much lighter than the standard Les Paul, while retaining a full midrange and rapid attack. On board there is a factory set of Gibson pickups: 400T on the bridge, 496R on the griffle and a single NSX in the middle position. It’s only characteristic of the M-III series.
