The 1989 Fender American Vintage Reissue ’57 Stratocaster (AVRI ’57) produced in Corona Plant, California, USA. Year of production confirmed by marks on the finger and in the pocket of the finger. This is an early copy from the Corona period, from when Fender was very consistently rebuilding his position through faithful reissues of models from the 1950s and 1960s. The late 1980s is now a recognized quality period for the AVRI series. Specification: Alder body Finish 2-Tone Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer One-piece maple grif Radius 7.25” 21 frets vintage Soft V profile 3 original single-coile Fender Bridgek vintage synchronized tremolo Keys in Kluson style Electronics, pickups, bridge, keys and plastics are original. The only change is the gold straplocks currently installed. The set includes the original belt brackets. The nitro varnish is in exceptional condition.
